My words are not void and they do not fall to the ground. My words are songs over you. I AM in you, among you and I want to know you and be know by you. I have poured out My heart for you in Scripture, My holy love letter to you, it is there page after page, confirming My absolute love for you. It is the standard and the rubric for you to know Me by. So when I ask you to do something totally wild, completely outside your comfort zone, something full of risk, you can read My love letter and know and affirm My voice is speaking.
I breathed the Scriptures, this love letter to you because I do not only want you to know what, I want you to know how and who I am. I want you to come into My heart, not so you can serve others, which is a high and lofty goal. I want you in My heart because I want you, to know you, and to be known by you. I want to take you into Me, moment by moment. I lead you in the way you should go because I love you. I am within you, because I love you. I sing over you, because I love you. I heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse lepers and raise the dead through you because I love you. And when you fail, when you don’t measure up, when it doesn’t go the way you planned, I love you. – Jesus
